Art is a crucial subject for our schools, especially because it allows everyone to express their feelings and emotions. For the past two summers our school, PS 175 Henry Highland Garnet, in Harlem has been fortunate enough to partner with the Saint-Cyr Art Studio. Each summer resulted in a beautiful outside mural that no only has significance for the students, but also the community. Marie Saint-Cyr and all of her artist were patient, encouraging, and worked side by side with our young students.
